Announcing with pleasure that Maciej Kuźmiński has become a guest teacher at the well-known contemporary dance conservatoire Codarts in Rotterdam. His first meeting with students of the first year will focus on artistic working methods and composition classes. In the second, 2-week period Kuźmiński will deliver an extended Floor Work workshop for the 3-rd year students.
Codarts, hogeschool voor de kunsten, is one of the most known art education conservatoire in the Netherlands, and it’s Contemporary Dance Departament is considered one of the best in the world. The school puts it’s focus on technical training, thanks to which the alumni find work with the most know dance companies such as Nederlands Dans Theater, Akram Khan Company. Cullberg Ballet or Carte Blanche.
As a pedagogue Maciej Kuźmiński works with concervatoires and companies in Poland and worldwide. In 2018 he has taught for London’s Trinity Laban, Canada’s University of Calgary, Serbian Belgrade Dance Institute, Polish Dance Theatre or Bitef Company in Belgrade. In 2014-2017 he was a full time teacher at the Dance Theatre Departament in Bytom of the Ludwik Solski National Theatre Academy in Cracow.
